Restorative Yoga is a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that supports the body, mind and spirit in the process of healing.
This style of yoga uses props to support the body into passively stretching postures, allowing for a state of deep rest. As the senses are drawn within, the postures literally hold you as you let go and allow for the innate intelligence of the body to restore you back to wholeness. Gentle yoga, guided breath work, and hands-on adjustments are integrated to maximize the benefits of the restorative poses.
Private sessions are particularly beneficial to those suffering from stress, trauma, injury, health conditions, or any state of imbalance.
The yoga of the sun and the moon, Hatha yoga balances the masculine, heated & rigorous energy of the sun with the feminine, calm & cooling energy of the moon. This practice strengthens, tones and cleanses the body as you release tension and move through breath and postures. Sequences are infused with the flow of movement, emphasizing the union of breath, body, and mind.
This class can be tailored to any level of experience.
