Emotional Eating

I am all too familiar with these feelings. For about 17 years, I struggled with emotional overeating and severe stress & anxiety. I often found myself in a vicious cycle as these issues literally fed into each other. I fell into weight fluctuations, body image issues, and incredible overwhelm. I often found myself feeling depressed, ashamed, and helpless.

 

I finally began seeking help and began the journey of re-learning my relationship to food, stress management, and overall emotional health. This was a slow moving-process that occurred over several years. 

 

I have pulled together the tools and strategies from my education and own experience with conquering my emotional eating, and created a program to share with you.

 

In this program we will work together to develop strategies to conquer your emotional eating. 

We will get to the root cause of your struggles, and create an action plan unique to your life. 

I will help you to develop a healthier relationship to food, and learn to love and take care of your body. You will learn basic cooking skills for nourishing meals, and develop simple meal-prepping routines that are manageable for your unique life and schedule.

  • you are seeking help for a major eating disorder, such as anorexia, bulimia, or binge eating disorder.

This 3-month program will include:

 

-45-minute coaching sessions via Zoom (option for weekly or bi-weekly)

In these sessions, we will check in o talk through your struggles and reflect on where they are coming from. We will discuss the progress and challenges that you face each week. In these sessions, I will also help you to develop your own strategies and action plan. 

-A mini-guidebook with tools and strategies to conquer cravings

This will serve as your launching pad when it comes to conquering your cravings. Together, we will explore which tools work best for you, and add more tools that work best for you personally.

 

-Guidance & education on basic cooking for whole foods

I will help you with preparing food and reflecting on what foods are working well for your body, to help relieve your overwhelm with what to eat. 

-Assistance in developing a meal-prepping routine that is manageable for your schedule

I will support you to in learning to create nourishing meals that are simple to prepare.

-Ongoing email support between sessions.
