We often forget that we are a part of nature just as much as the plants, the animals, the waters, and even the stars.

By truly supporting the health of our own body, we are also supporting the health of the planet and the greater good.

Melanie Johnson is a holistic health & wellness coach who helps women overcome stress/emotional eating by phasing in plant-based foods, prioritizing whole foods, deconstructing cravings, harnessing self-care, and healing their relationship with their body.

Melanie also offers private haha flow and restorative yoga sessions.

Starting from where you are now, Melanie will work with you to integrate healthy lifestyle choices that are both manageable & beneficial to your life.

About Melanie

I grew up in a small town near the woods, and have felt passionate about the planet's health since childhood. I've always appreciated my connection to nature and how it enriches my overall health and well-being.  

I have also been a dancer since childhood, which led me to complete my B.A. in Dance from UC Santa Barbara. After college, I continued to enrich my love for movement and knowledge of the human body. I became certified in Personal Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I then completed trainings in Hatha Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga with the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. I went on to study Reiki with the Usui Reiki Institute and the Jikiden Reiki Institute. Additionally, from 2010-2020 I have taught dance to various age groups from preschool -12th grade. I have also taught Restorative and Hatha yoga in studios and treatment centers.

After a profound experience with healing through dietary changes, I studied nutrition and health coaching with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I now help clients to discover their own balanced diet and lifestyle.
